Hiking 4 Health — Lewis Creek: Corlieu Falls to Red Rock Falls (Extended Loop)
H4H is a rejuvenating community initiative designed to reconnect you with the land and with yourself. These guided hikes honor the interchange of energy, biology, and life force, reminding us how deeply our bodies respond to nature.
Hiking supports the whole system — improving cardiovascular and respiratory function, boosting mood, and enhancing overall well‑being. Research consistently shows that time spent outdoors, especially in movement, elevates mental clarity, reduces stress, and strengthens emotional balance.
For this special July 4th edition of H4H, we’ll explore the Lewis Creek Trail, a shaded, flowing‑water corridor just 20 minutes from Bass Lake. This extended route takes us past Corlieu Falls and Red Rock Falls, following the creek through lush forest, granite shelves, and cool pockets of mist. It’s the perfect blend of movement, water, and quiet — a peaceful way to begin the holiday before an evening of fireworks at Bass Lake.
